Google faces €100 million high-quality in Italy for “abuse of dominant place” of Android Auto

A brand new launch printed by Italy’s Antitrust Authority calls out Google for its “abuse of dominant place” and fined Google for €100 million on the grounds that Google excluded Enel X’s app JuicePass, an app that helps drivers discover and reserve spots at charging stations.

The case in opposition to Google is that the Authority’s investigation discovered Google excluded the JuicePass app from the Android Auto Platform for greater than two years. “In response to the Authority’s findings, Google didn’t permit Enel X Italia to develop a model of its JuicePass app suitable with Android Auto.
